2017 Saint Helena Centa Vineyard
Gibbs Sauvignon Blanc
Gibbs 2014 Russian River Chardonnay was sourced from the Bacigalupi Vineyard. Barrel fermented in 60% new French oak and stirred on the lees, this is a beautiful Burgundian style Chardonnay. Aromas of honey suckle, vanilla and a hint of oak give way to a round, luscious body of melon, peach, apricot and pear. There is a bright acidity that shows in the body and makes for a clean finish with a hint of crisp green apple and lemon zest.
At Gibbs they focus on making quality Napa Valley wines, but from time to time they come across an opportunity that just can’t be passed up. So is the case with this beautiful Chardonnay from the world-famous Bacigalupi Vineyard in the Russian River Valley. As a limited release, grab it while you can!
